Biography:
Melissa Fellenz, MS, OTR/L, CLWT, is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist and former U.S. Army Captain with over 18 years of clinical expertise in specialized rehabilitation. Her career includes service as a Captain (O-3) at the Center for the Intrepid (CFI), a world-class facility for wounded warriors, where she delivered advanced therapy for service members with complex upper extremity orthopedic injuries, amputations, burns, spinal cord injury (SCI), and polytrauma.

Melissa is currently serving in an Outpatient Setting providing care in the following areas of Advanced Clinical Focus:

  • Lymphedema and Wound Care (CLWT)
  • Certified in Wound Debridement
  • Upper Extremity Orthopedics (Shoulder to Hand)
  • Prosthetics & Amputee Rehab Upper and Lower Extremity (Myoelectric Training, TMR, Residual Limb Therapy)
  • Burn & Polytrauma Rehabilitation
  • Myofascial Decompression (MFD) techniques
  • Ergonomics
