Biography:
Douglas Burns, DO, is a board-certified family physician who is a hospice and palliative medicine specialist at Bozeman Health. He provides compassionate care for patients facing serious illness, focusing on symptom management, quality of life, and support for both patients and their families. Dr. Burns is experienced in inpatient palliative care, hospice medical direction, and interdisciplinary team collaboration. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Family Medicine Residency in Montana, followed by a Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship in Philadelphia. Dr. Burns is committed to patient-centered care that prioritizes comfort, dignity, and individualized support at every stage of serious illness.
