Public input invited through April via confidential online survey or phone
Bozeman, MT. – March 3, 2026 – Bozeman Health, in partnership with Gallatin City-County Health Department, HRDC, and One Health (formerly Community Health Partners), has launched its 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for Gallatin County and invites public feedback through April 30. County residents are encouraged to share their perspectives on local health needs, barriers to care, and priorities for improving the health and wellbeing of our region.
The CHNA is a systematic process to identify the most pressing health needs and concerns in the community. Conducted every three years, the CHNA findings guide how Bozeman Health invests resources and serves as an important data source for organizations throughout Gallatin County, informing programs, partnerships and funding decisions that address community priorities through 2029.
“The CHNA is a vital way we partner with our community,” said Kami Panepucci, system manager of community health improvement and partnerships at Bozeman Health. “The insights we gather not only guide Bozeman Health’s priorities but also help other local organizations strengthen their programs and better serve our neighbors. By listening to our community, we can shape effective solutions to improve health for everyone.”
“Gallatin County is continuing to grow and change rapidly, and the needs of our community are evolving with it. By partnering with Bozeman Health, HRDC, and One Health on the CHNA, we are making sure that our public health efforts are grounded in what residents are actually experiencing,” said Lori Christenson, Health Officer for Gallatin City-County Health Department.
The process includes phone and online surveys, targeted questionnaires and a review of public health data.
