Community Education
Bozeman Health’s Community Education page offers a variety of certification courses aimed at enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals in the community. These courses include American Heart Association CPR certifications, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Courses, and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC). Each program combines online learning with in-person skills sessions, culminating in certification upon successful completion.
Healthcare Certification Courses
American Heart Association CPR Certifications
American Heart Association certification courses (new certifications and renewals) can be facilitated through a combination of an online course followed by a hands-on skills session with an AHA certified instructor. A certification card will be issued once you have successfully completed both the online course and the skills session.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
The NRP course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. The course consists of two portions. The first is an online course followed by an in-person, hands-on skills session. AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course
The Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course is designed for clinicians who have completed a basic or foundations FHM course and who utilize FHM in the intrapartum setting. This one-day course consists of didactic content, hands-on skill station modules, and an online integration test. Those who attend and participate in the entire course will receive 11.25 contact hours of continuing nursing education credit. AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Course
The Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Course is designed for clinicians who have completed a basic or foundations FHM course and who utilize FHM in the intrapartum setting and who have at least one year of intrapartum clinical experience. This is a one-day course that expands on the knowledge and principles that are presented in the Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course and covers more complex concepts. This course uses a case study approach focusing on the analysis of complicated FHM patterns and characteristics with related case information and includes an optional online test.
Cost: $295 total (student workbook: $120; instructor-led course: $175)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
TNCC and ENPC prepare emergency nurses for life-threatening trauma and pediatric cases when every second counts. These courses give you the knowledge, critical thinking skills and training needed to provide high-quality nursing care. Both courses consist of two portions.
