Biography:
Kate Brock, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist dedicated to caring for children during acute illness and hospitalization. Board certified in general pediatrics, Dr. Brock brings a strong academic foundation and a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to inpatient pediatric care. Dr. Brock completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arizona. Her academic work reflects a deep commitment to clinical excellence, careful decision-making and continuous learning. Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Brock provides safe, high-quality care to her patients and their families.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Brock enjoys mountain biking, running, traveling, cooking, learning languages and listening to podcasts.

Philosophy of Care:
Every hospitalized child deserves attentive, compassionate care that supports both the patient and their family. I value clear communication, teamwork and shared understanding, especially during stressful moments.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine, respect and empathy – focusing on helping children to heal, while also ensuring that families feel informed and supported throughout their hospital experience.
