Biography:
Dr. Starr came to Bozeman after more than 21 years at Mayo Clinic as a board-certified pediatrician. She is committed to building strong relationships with our community patients and their families to help every infant, child and adolescent achieve their full potential. She earned her MD degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed pediatric residency training in the U.S. Navy. Her Navy and Mayo Clinic experience cemented her core value of service by putting patients and their families first.
Dr. Starr has extensive experience in providing full-spectrum care for infants, preschoolers, school-aged children, adolescents and young adults as their primary care provider. Her experience includes normal growth and development (well child care), chronic health issues and diseases (including behavioral/mental health, ADHD and academic challenges) as well as acute illnesses and injuries. She prides herself in making her office a safe place for all teens to talk about sensitive health issues that are important to them. She enjoys any time spent outdoors (hiking, gardening, snowshoeing) and travelling with her family.
