Introducing advanced endometriosis surgery
The medical team at Bozeman Health Women’s Specialists has been delivering expert obstetrical and gynecological care to our region for over 19 years. In addition to treating a variety of conditions, Drs. Waring, Long, Voigt, Chisdak and Gillis offer medical and surgical treatment for endometriosis, a condition where uterine tissue grows outside the uterus. Endometriosis can cause severe pelvic pain, make becoming pregnant difficult, and in advanced cases, can involve the intestine or other abdominal organs.
The Women’s Specialists team expanded in December 2023 with the introduction of board-certified gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Justin Bottsford-Miller, who has highly specialized knowledge and experience in robotic and non-robotic surgery to treat cancerous and non-cancerous gynecologic conditions, including advanced cases of endometriosis.
Dr. Bottsford-Miller shares, “With our expanded scope of services, we are now able to offer the highest quality of endometriosis care in the region, whether someone’s goal is to achieve pregnancy, or whether they want more definitive surgical care. Patients no longer need to travel out of state for the most timely and best care for advanced endometriosis.”
