My Chart Phishing Scam (10/22/2026)
Please be aware of an email phishing scam that looks like a survey from MyChart.
Bozeman Health MyChart will never send a survey offering free services and will only communicate clinical information to patients.
Do not click on any email links in suspected emails.
Patient Cyber Safety Information (Cancer Spoofing: 9/24/2026)
The IT Security team has received reports of Bozeman Health staff receiving suspicious phone calls that appear to originate from 406-414-5070, the primary phone number for the Cancer Center. Caller ID spoofing allows a caller to make it appear that they are calling from a legitimate Bozeman Health phone number when they are not.

- We cannot block this number because doing so would also block legitimate Cancer Center calls, potentially disrupting patient care, scheduling and operational communications.
- Caller ID alone should not be considered proof that a caller is affiliated with Bozeman Health.
- Remain cautious if the caller's voice sounds automated, AI-generated, delayed or otherwise unusual.
- Do not provide patient information, employee information, passwords, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) codes or other sensitive information.
- If the request seems unusual or does not align with normal processes, end the call and independently contact the department.
Please remain vigilant if a phone call seems suspicious, even if the caller ID displays a Bozeman Health phone number.
