Biography:
Bozeman native Luke Van Alstine, MD, has returned to Gallatin Valley Anesthesia Associates and Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital medical staff as an anesthesiologist. A graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he was chief resident. While in medical school, Dr. Van Alstine completed a volunteer medical mission in Guatamala and worked at a camp for children with cancer in Gold Creek, MT. He practiced in Bozeman before fulfilling a stint as a senior associate consultant at Mayo Clinic.
