Biography:
Dr. Peder Horner is a board-certified interventional radiologist who specializes in minimally invasive treatments for a wide range of conditions, including cancer, enlarged prostate (BPH), uterine fibroids, liver disease, blood clots and painful compression fractures. With more than 15 years of experience in interventional radiology, Dr. Horner is passionate about offering patients alternatives to traditional surgery whenever possible. Using advanced image-guided techniques, he performs procedures that often require only a small incision, helping patients recover more quickly and return to their daily lives sooner.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Horner completed residency training in diagnostic radiology and fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at the nationally recognized Dotter Interventional Institute at Oregon Health & Science University. He has served as Chief of Interventional Radiology for one of Colorado’s largest radiology practices and has been recognized multiple times as a Denver “Top Doc” by his physician peers. Dr. Horner has a special interest in interventional oncology, helping patients access innovative treatments for liver and other cancers. He also has extensive experience treating common conditions such as uterine fibroids and benign prostatic hyperplasia through minimally invasive procedures that can improve quality of life without major surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Horner enjoys cycling, skiing, hiking and backpacking with his wife and two children.

“One of the things I enjoy most about interventional radiology is helping patients discover treatment options they may not know exist. Many people are surprised to learn that conditions once treated with major surgery can now often be managed through minimally invasive procedures with shorter recovery times and less disruption to their lives. I believe every patient deserves clear information, honest guidance and the opportunity to make informed decisions about their care. My role is to listen carefully, understand each patient’s goals and recommend treatments that fit their individual needs.
Whether I am treating cancer, chronic pain or a condition that affects someone’s daily quality of life, I focus on delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care while helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.”
