Supporting recovery, maternal health and community-based care with local nonprofit partnerships

Bozeman, Montana – May 26, 2026 – Bozeman Health has awarded 2026 Partners in Health (PIH) grants to four local nonprofit organizations: Recovery Point, Thrive, Good Medicine Wellness Center and Haven. The annual grants support local nonprofit organizations advancing community health, wellbeing and equitable access to care and reflect Bozeman Health’s ongoing commitment as a nonprofit health system to improve community health and quality of life. The PIH grants are a key part of Bozeman Health’s Community Benefit strategy, which reinvests in community partners whose work aligns with identified health priorities, including behavioral health, access to care, chronic disease prevention, and socioeconomic and health measures.

“These organizations are addressing some of the most urgent and complex health challenges in our community,” said Kami Panepucci, system manager of community health improvement and partnerships at Bozeman Health. “From recovery support and maternal health to culturally grounded care and services for survivors of violence, these partners are creating a lasting impact across our region.”

2026 PIH Grant Recipients:
  • Recovery Point – Funding will support a low-barrier Recovery Resource Center offering peer recovery coaching, overdose prevention education, recovery groups and connections to treatment and community services.
  • Thrive – Funding will support Thrive’s Partnership Project, a home visiting program that helps young families improve maternal and infant health outcomes through individualized support and access to health care, education and economic resources.
  • Good Medicine Wellness Center – Funding will support startup operations for the Indigenous-led organization providing culturally grounded behavioral health, peer support and wellness services for American Indian and Alaska Native residents.
  • Haven – Grant funds will support counseling services and emergency medical needs for survivors of domestic violence, helping address the long-term physical and mental health impacts of violence.

Bozeman Health awards Partners in Health grants annually through an application and review process. Applications are accepted each year from January 1 through February 28, with recipientsannounced in the spring.
