Biography:
Sawyer Kesselheim, PA-C, is a physician assistant who provides comprehensive family medicine for patients of all ages. He is passionate about building lasting relationships with patients and helping them achieve their long-term health goals through preventive care, education and collaborative decision-making. A Montana native, Sawyer earned his Bachelor of Science in exercise science from Montana State University, graduating with highest honors. He went on to earn his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University. Before becoming a physician assistant, Sawyer worked as a home health aide and caregiver, supporting patients with complex medical needs in their homes and in long-term care settings. Those experiences shaped his compassionate, patient-centered approach and reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are in their health journey.

Since 2022, Sawyer has practiced family medicine in Bozeman, caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions. Outside of medicine, Sawyer is an accomplished Nordic skier and former Paralympic guide. He helped guide a blind skier to a silver medal at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in South Korea. He enjoys skiing, running, hiking and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Philosophy:
“I believe the best health care starts with listening. Every patient has unique goals, experiences and challenges, and I enjoy partnering with them to create a plan that fits their life. Whether we’re focusing on prevention, managing a chronic condition or addressing an unexpected illness, my goal is to provide compassionate care, clear communication and the support patients need to live healthy, active lives.”
