Biography:
Virginia Jeppesen, RN, NP-C, is a nurse practitioner specializing in neurosurgery at Bozeman Health and is part of the care team with Joseph Sramek, MD, a neurosurgeon with more than 25 years of experience. Together, they support patients through every stage of care—from evaluation to recovery. With more than two decades of experience in health care, Virginia brings a deep understanding of both surgical and clinical care. She graduated from paramedic school before working in medical office operations, then transitioned to the operating room as a certified surgical technologist in neurosurgery. She later became a registered nurse in the operating room, caring for patients across a wide range of specialties.
After earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University, Virginia became a nurse practitioner in orthopedic surgery. She has extensive experience caring for patients in both clinic and surgical settings and now works as part of Dr. Sramek’s neurosurgery team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. Virginia is known for her clear communication, attention to detail and commitment to helping patients feel informed and supported throughout their care. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds certifications including CNOR (emeritus).
