Biography:
Dr. Troy Couture is a board-certified pediatrician who provides comprehensive care for children from infancy through adolescence. He is passionate about partnering with families to support healthy growth, development and lifelong well-being. Dr. Couture earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his pediatric residency there as well. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Dakota State University. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves as a clinical assistant professor with the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Before moving to Bozeman in 2016, Dr. Couture practiced in northern Minnesota, where he cared for patients in both outpatient and hospital settings, including newborn care and high-risk deliveries. He has also held numerous leadership roles throughout his career, including department chair, chief of staff and board member, reflecting his commitment to advancing pediatric care and patient experience. Dr. Couture enjoys caring for children across all stages of development and values building lasting relationships with families. Originally from Minnesota, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with his wife and two children, and cheering on the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Vikings.

Philosophy of Care:
“Pediatrics is my calling and I love getting to do this job. I enjoy partnering with children and their families to promote healthy lifestyle. I love to watch kids grow and to share their successes as well as challenges that arise. I appreciate the resiliency that children exhibit in the face of these challenges or during illnesses. I feel privileged and honored with the trust my patients place in me and work diligently every day to build and maintain that trust.”
